Angela “Angie” Kay Linder
Angie was born May 7, 1968 in Waterloo, IA to Charley and Sue Brown. Angie was the oldest of 3 daughters. Angie was involved in many activities is school, including volleyball, band, and softball. Graduating with her class in 1986 in Jesup.
On June 19, 1989, Angie was united in marriage to Frank Schwartz II. Angie and Frank had four children: Victoria, Zackary, Kelsey, and Dalton. In 2000 they decided to part ways, Angie decided to go back to school while running a daycare during the day and waitressing at night, all the while taking care of her 4 young children. In 2001, she earned her Associate’s degree in paralegal studies. During this difficult time in her life, she met her current husband, Jim, and his two children: Geonna and Joey. They combined their two families and moved to Reinbeck in 2002.
Throughout her life, Angie was many things: a soccer mom, football mom, girl scout leader, Reinbeck city council member, daycare board member, and scrapbooker; committed to anything her six kids were involved in. She enjoyed a lifelong career at Sweet & Hartman PLC as a paralegal. In 2006, she continued her schooling and received her Bachelor’s degree in paralegal science. In her limited free time, Angie enjoyed crafts, scrapbooking, spending time with her family, friends, and wiener dog, Bristol, and anything else that was going on in her children’s lives.
Angie is survived by her husband, Jim; her children: Victoria, Zack (Amanda), Kelsey (Jeff), and Dalton; her step-children: Geonna and Joey. She is also survived by one grandchild, Carson; her parents, Charley and Sue Brown; and her sisters, Jay (Jamie) Breitsprecher and Linda Brown.
