Mary J. Bradley
Mary J. Bradley, 80, died Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at her home in Littleton, Iowa. She was born in Great Yarmouth-Northfold, England, to Leonard and Jean (Souris) Wilson on October 21, 1938. Mary grew up in England, attended college to be a Registered Nurse, then eventually became a midwife and delivered many babies. She moved to the United States in 1963 and married Larry Bradley in Hazelton, Iowa on December 19, 1974. They later moved to a small cabin along the Wapsipinicon River in Littleton. They made their home there together for many years until Larry’s death on February 3, 2012. Mary continued living in this home for 7 years enjoying the view of the river, watching the birds, and taking care of her cats.

Survived by her sons, Wayne Burns of England and Mark (Tammy) Burns of Mankato, Minnesota. Step-children include Lori (Randy) Brooks, Kim (Jeff) Cannon, Sheri Bradley, Larry Lee Bradley and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by four sisters and one brother who live in England.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry, her parents, one brother and a son, Chad who died in infancy.

Graveside services will be on May 18, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. in Littleton, Iowa Cemetery. Iowa Cremation and LaPorte Road Memorial are assisting with burial.
