Upcoming grand march, prom and after-prom for Jesup High School students this Saturday
By Chloe Hartley

The Jesup High School junior class proudly announces the upcoming prom festivities that will take place this Saturday, April 13.

The Grand March will kick off the day, starting at 4 p.m. in the south gym at Jesup High School. This an exciting time where friends, family and community members see the couples walk the red carpet and find out who is crowned prom king, queen, prince and princess!

After that, the students will dine at their choice of restaurant before heading off to prom, which starts at 8 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m.

Prom guests will enjoy the evening at the Rotary Reserve Lodge in Cedar Falls which will be decorated in Rustic Romance. To add to this theme, s’mores will be served.

Jesup students and their dates will get their boogie on to the sounds of the D.J. “For ‘A Good Time’ Entertainment” out of Cedar Falls.

Nancy Steinbron is lined up to take photos of couples and groups.

To end the night and bring in the early morning, after-prom will be held at Jesup High School from 12:00 p.m. midnight until approximately 4:00 a.m. (Doors will close at 12:30.)
Besides many games and other activities, students will enjoy the main entertainment which includes Martika’s One Woman Stunt Show.

This will be an exciting night for the students to have fun dressing up, dancing to the music and watching an exciting show with friends and classmates.
