Jeremy Lee Dahl
A Celebration of Life was held on Saturday, February 9, 2019. A gathering was held in Andover, MN. on February 16, 2019 and another Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 1, in Aplington, IA. More details will be announced as time draws near.
Jeremy was born May 31, 1971 in Independence, Iowa to Margaret “Maggie” (Woodward) and Roland “Roscoe” Dahl. He graduated from Anoka High School in Anoka, MN. in 1989. His career included 20 years of construction, co-owning a siding business and most recently working with his dad and brother at Roscoe Painting.
Jeremy’s family includes his children, Danielle (George), Alexis (Ricky), Dylan and Laylah; his grandchildren, Braxton, Aubriella and Rylen, all from Minnesota; his mother, Maggie (Clark) Collins of Guttenberg, father Roscoe (Janet), brother, Eric (Marie), step-brothers, Todd Shedeck (Kelly), and Aaron Beltz (Shae) all of Cedar Rapids; grandfathers Ralph Woodward of Oelwein and Robert Dahl of Vinton; grandmother Emelia Jacobson of Urbana, aunts Pamm (Doug) Geuder of Volga, Deanna (J.R.) Underwood of Aplington, Linda Lambert, and Jean Woodward both of Waterloo, Sharon Loomis (Jim) of Fairfax, and Julie Woodward of Littleton; uncles Bobby of Afton, Don (Deanna) of Marion, Jim of Urbana, Wesley (Bonnie) of Jesup, Brian (Phyllis) Woodward of Oelwein; several cousins; his former wife, Jill, of Oak Grove, MN his and stepfather, Glenn Behrends of Somerville, AL.
Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Bea Johansen; aunt, Suzi Woodward, and uncles, Mark and Mike Woodward.
Jeremy’s favorite activities were spending time with his family, attending their sporting events and activities. He was very proud of them, they were the joy of his life. Jeremy was an avid sports fan and die-hard Vikings fan and really enjoyed ice fishing. Jeremy was a wonderful, fun-loving father, son, brother and friend, with a gentle soul and kind heart. He touched the lives of many and will be missed. On behalf of the family, we wish to express our gratitude for your kindness and support.
