Jesup finishes 9th in NICL Conference Tournament
Jesup finished ninth out of 13 teams in the North Iowa Cedar League (NICL) conference tournament January 26. The team scored 48.5 points. Denver was the top finisher with 287.5 points.

Jesup’s top scorers were Carter Littlefield (113 lbs) and Jerret Delagardelle (138 lbs.) who each finished third in their weight classes. Izak Krueger (160 lbs.) and Keaton Roscovius (170 lbs.) finished fourth.

Littlefield, who scored 19.5 points, earned his third place finish by pinning Sumner-Fredericksburg’s Brady Wilkinson at 1:20. Delagardelle, who scored 12 points, defeated Denver’s Alex Krabbenhoft with a decision of 11-7 in the third place matchup. Krueger scored 16 points and had pins at 30 seconds and 48 seconds. Roscovius earned 14 points for Jesup and scored on pins at 1:15 and 1:13 and a decision of 10-8.
