Family from California coming to Jesup
A family of four will be moving into the Jesup community from California soon.

The family has lost everything due to the fires in California. They are in need of clothing for the winter and winter gear. Eventually they will be in need of household items as well.

The family will be residing with a friend here in town to start with and then look for a place to rent of their own. They include the parents, a boy and a girl.

“If you are able to donate any of these items we would greatly appreciate it,” said Melissa Trumbauer, At-Risk Coordinator at Jesup High School. “If you would prefer to donate money so the items can be purchased I would be happy to purchase the items and deliver them when they arrive.”

Following is a list of sizes:

Girl - size 6/7 clothing and size 13 shoe
Boy - size men's large, shoe size is men's
Mom - shirt size 2x-3x, pants 24 and shoe size 8
Dad- shirt size 2xl, pants 40x30 and shoe size 12

“Please let me know if you are able to donate,” Trumbauer said. “Due to the number of items we are in need of I would be happy to pick up the items.” Trumbauer can be reached at the school by calling 319-827-1700 x 1206.
