Jesup focuses on postseason, goes 3-2 in 5 game stretch
The Jesup baseball team wasn’t going to win the NICL East, so they just tried to win as many games as possible. The J-Hawks played 4 regular season games and 1 district game in the postseason.

The J-Hawks finished the regular season against Hudson, Don Bosco, and Gladbrook-Reinbeck on June 29, July 2 and 3. The doubleheader against Hudson was very close, with Jesup barely winning the first game 3-1 and losing the second game 1-6.

The games against Don Bosco and Gladbrook-Reinbeck weren’t close, with the Dons winning 6-0 and Jesup overpowering Gladbrook Reinbeck 15-4.

The district game on July 7 against Clayton Ridge was also a blowout with the J-Hawks taking the win, 12-5.
