Jesup City Council meetings will now be held on the first Tuesday of each month. Council persons approved the change at the regular Jesup City Council meeting held July 12 in council chambers.
The school board and administration of the Jesup Community School District continues to closely monitor the current and projected financial health of the school district.
Ray Pechous (pronounced Pek - osh) has begun his duties as the St. Athanasius Catholic School principal here in Jesup.
