Independence - Kelly J. Lamphier, 39 years old, of Independence, Iowa, died on Sunday, January 31, 2010, at Covenant Medical Center following a long illness.
Mrs. Lamphier is survived by her husband, Todd; one son, Kaleb Lamphier; two daughters, Kennedy Lamphier and Addison Lamphier, all at home; and one stepdaughter, Adrianna Lamphier of Indianapolis, Indiana. She is also survived by her parents, Patty and Bob Mangrich of La Porte City; one sister, Sheila (Dave) McGrew of Elk Run Heights; one brother, Luke (Bryn) Mangrich of Waterloo; and three nieces and nephews, Nichole McGrew, Matthew McGrew, and Kyra Mangrich. She was preceded in death by one brother, Kevin Mangrich; and one nephew, Joshua McGrew.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 3, 2010, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Independence, Iowa. Rev. Donald Plamondon will be the Celebrant. On Tuesday, Feb. 2, there will be a Parish Rosary at 3 PM and a Vigil Service at 7 PM at the White Funeral Home in Independence. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Independence, Iowa.
