Jesup - Richard H. Miller, 69 years old, of Jesup, Iowa, died on Friday, November 20, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa, from complications of a stroke.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary; three sons, Todd (Patty) Asaad of Dallas, Texas, Bill (Lisa) Miller of Johnston, and Rick Miller of Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Lisa (Michael) Boleyn and Mary (Adam) Peterson, both of Jesup, and Tina (Rob) Oberbroeckling of Robins; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Chuck (Nancy) Miller of Arizona, and Bob (Peg) Miller of Cedar Rapids; and four sisters, Billie Jean (Dean) Johnson, Betty Peterson, and Mary Kay (Dallas) Harken, all of Waterloo, and Ruth Oliver of Evansdale. His parents preceded him in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at St. Athanasius Catholic Church in Jesup. Fr. Kenneth Stecher will be the Celebrant.
White Funeral Home of Jesup, Iowa, is in charge of arrangements. Friends may call for visitation from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Monday, November 23rd, at the funeral home where a Vigil Service begins at 7 p.m. On line condolences may be left at www.white-mthope.com. |
