JESUP – Wesley Dean Hamblin, 80 years old of rural Jesup, IA, died at his home Friday, June 26, 2009, following a lengthy illness.
Mr. Hamblin is survived by his wife, Hazel of rural Jesup; two sons, Dean Hamblin of rural Jesup, and David (Joyce) Hamblin of Jesup; and one daughter, Karen (David) Christian of Independence; also, four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Randy Hamblin; and one sister, Doris Christensen Jensen.
Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, IA, with Rev. Vicki Reece officiating. Burial will be at the Littleton Cemetery, Littleton.
Public visitation will be from 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials will be directed to the Jesup Ambulance Department.
