World Day of Prayer will be held in Jesup on Friday, March 7, at the Jesup Bible Fellowship at 1 PM.
Along with music and prayer, the afternoon will include a report on a mission trip to El Salvador given by Cindy Paulus.
Paulus is employed with Jet Blue Airlines and is Mission Coordinator with Airline Ambassadors-Airline Ambassadors International — “Helping Children in Need at Home and Abroad.”
She received the President’s Achievement Award for 4,000 voluntary hours and she attended the “presidents Call To Service Award” Banquet in Miami in June of 2007.
Paulus is a hometown girl, having lived in Jesup and graduated from Jesup High School in 1977. She is the daughter of Betty McGlaughlin of Jesup, and the late Robert McGlaughlin.
The World Day of Prayer is sponsored by the Jesup Ministerial Association. The theme for this year’s service is “God’s Wisdom Provides New Understanding.”
Special items needed for the children in El Salvador will be posted in the church bulletins for those who wish to donate.
A fellowship coffee will be served following the meeting.
Come to World Day of Prayer March 7 as all pray for peace worldwide.
Men and women are welcome to attend. |
