Deadline is this Friday for prince, princess contest
Children ages 4-7 by July 5, 2018 who live in the Jesup School District, are eligible to participate in the Farmers Day Prince and Princess contest. The deadline to register is this Friday, June 8.

A limited number of applications are still available at the Jesup Citizen Herald office at 930 Sixth Street. Parents are asked to stop in and fill out the application, provide a photo of their child, and receive detailed information on the contest.

The youngsters are interviewed on stage in front of the packed audience at the downtown park pavilion, plus a set of judges who watch and listen carefully to figure out who the 2018 winners will be.

All contestants will receive ride tickets and treats. The winners will be crowned Thursday night, July 5, and asked to ride in a special convertible during the Great Farmers Day Parade on Saturday, July 7. Typically all the candidate spots are filled each year, so stop at the Citizen Herald today to sign up.
