Boys have a busy week of golf
Jesup golfers Dylan McCombs and Clayton Froehner competed in the April 26 golf meet against Sumner-Fredericksburg. Individually, McCombs scored 50 strokes and tied for fifth at the meet. Froehner placed eighth with a score of 63.

Jesup was able to compete on the team level in the April 27 meet against Tripoli, placing second in the meet with a total score of 232. Individually, the team played against players from Tripoli and Clarksville. Dylan McCombs was the medalist with a score of 45. Brayden Menuey placed seventh with 58 strokes, Clay Froehner placed ninth with 52 strokes, and Gavin Nolan placed tenth with 67 strokes.

The boys took part in another meet on April 30 against Dike-New Hartford. Dylan McCombs scored 55, Clayton Froehner scored 57, and Brayden Menuey 63. They placed in the seventh, eighth, and ninth spots.

On May 4, Jesup competed at home, losing out to Aplington-Parkersburg in the team rankings by 41 strokes. Their final score was 216, down from their previous team score the week prior. Dylan McCombs placed in fourth with 45 strokes. Clayton Froehner placed seventh with 51 strokes. Gavin Nolan placed tenth with 55 strokes. Brayden Menuey placed twelfth with 65 strokes.
