Most common gardening mistakes program at Jesup Library May 17
JESUP, Iowa – Buchanan County ISU Extension and Outreach’s Agriculture/Horticulture Program Coordinator, Ashley Sherrets, will be giving a “Top 10 Gardening Mistakes” program at Jesup Public Library on Thursday, May 17, from 5-6 p.m.

As spring approaches, many gardeners are in a rush to get their hands in the dirt. However, ten common mistakes gardeners make can cause more headache than relief while gardening. Attendees will learn about the importance of soil testing, how to properly water, light requirements of plants, plant spacing, and more!

This program is FREE and open to the public. While registration is not required, it is encouraged. The “Top 10 Gardening Mistakes” program will take place at Jesup Public Library, 721 6th St., Jesup, IA 50644. To register, contact Buchanan County ISU Extension and Outreach at 319-334-7161 or, or stop in and register at the Jesup Public Library.
