Girls take win on road, lose at home
The Jesup girls took home a win against Wapsie Valley on Feb. 1 with a final score of 44-32.

Emily Treptow led the J-Hawks in scoring at 19 points, followed by Jaima Tonne with 10 points, Payton McHone with 9 points, and both Brianna Lingenfelter and Laken Borrett with 3 points.

The J-Hawks played at home on Feb. 2 but were unable to maintain the same resilience, losing to Sumner-Fredericksburg 40-55.

Emily Treptow once again led Jesup in scoring with 13 points. Also scoring were Brittany Lingenfelter with 11 points, Brianna Lingenfelter with 8, Payton Mchone with 4, and Jaima Tonne and Laken Borrett each with 2.

The Jesup girls are currently 11-9.
