KC Care and Share Food Drive underway; helping the needy
The Knights of Columbus #8227 Care and Share Food Drive is underway.
The entire Jesup Community is a big supporter of this event. Last year a record number of food was collected.

With the help of St. Athanasius Catholic School and Jesup Community School students, along with community locations, there are many generous contributors.

The goal is to help local families in need during the holiday season. This year care and share boxes for non-perishable foods are located at Jesup Post Office, Jesup Public Library, Inspired Living Chiropractic, Wax and Glow Skincare Spa and St. Athanasius Church.

Collection will continue until December 15. On December 16, food boxes are packed at the St. A’s gym and delivered by Knights of Columbus members, their families and students to area residents. The remaining items are donated to Independence Food Pantry.
