Josh Kies and I.C.A. win awards at ball tournament
Independence Christian Academy took part in the Heartland of America Christian Conference Tournament at Cono Christian School on Feb. 26-27.
Private Christian schools from across the state participated.
I.C.A. took fifth place overall, with team captain Joshua Kies receiving 1st Team All Conference, Conference MVP, as well as being voted MVP by the referees for the all-star game.
The team itself also won the honor of receiving the Conference Christian Character Award for displaying a high standard of character, both on and off the court. blog comments powered by Disqus
