Season-ending statistics for the Jesup Boys Basketball team were recently announced.

Senior Mitch Roberts led the Jesup team in scoring with 240 points, for an average of 10.9 points per game. He was successful on 87 of 229 field goals attempted for 38.0 percent.

Mitch made 19 of 77 three-point attempts for 24.7 percent. He hit 47 of 74 free throw attempts for 63.5 percent.

He had 89 rebounds, 56 assists and 23 steals.

Brady Mattson followed with 203 points scored, for an average of 9.2 points per game. He connected on 85 of 163 field goal attempts for 52.1 percent, tops on the team.

Brady was 33 of 76 from the free throw line for 43.4 percent. He led the Jesup team with 138 rebounds, and he had 21 assists, 30 steals, and 1 blocked shot.

Brady Larson scored 175 points, for an average of 8.0 points per game. He connected on 62 of 158 field goal attempts for 39.2 percent. He made 27 of 85 three-point attempts for 31.8 percent.

Brady shot 24 of 47 free throw attempts for 51.1 percent. He had 48 rebounds, led the J-Hawks with 69 assists, and 36 steals.

Colin Becker had 126 points, for an average of 5.7 points per game. He connected on 39 of 135 field goal attempts for 28.9 percent. He hit 16 of 65 three-point attempts for 24.6 percent.

Colin was third on the team at the free throw line with 32 of 53 tries for 60.4 percent.

He had 57 rebounds, 24 assists, and 17 steals. Colin played very solid defense for the Jesup team.

Noah Brown scored 100 points, for an average of 4.5 points per game. Noah connected on 43 of 125 field goal attempts for 34.4 percent. He made 6 of 28 three-point attempts for 21.4 percent.

Noah was good at the free throw line with 8 of 12 for 66.7 percent. He had 75 rebounds, 40 assists, and 9 steals.

Max Faulkner had 76 points, an average of 3.5 points per game. He connected on 28 of 79 field goal attempts for 35.4 percent. He was 8 of 23 from three-point range for 34.8 percent.

Max hit 12 of 25 from the free throw line for 48 percent. He had 21 rebounds, 32 assists, 11 steals, and 2 blocked shots.

Ethan Pelton came in with 64 points, for an average of 2.9 percent. He was successful on 24 of 52 field goal attempts for 46.2 percent. He was 16 of 26 from the charity stripe for 61.5 percent.

Ethan had 36 rebounds, 19 assists, and 8 steals.

Brian Forsythe added 40 points, for an average of 2.2 points per game. He connected on 12 of 33 field goal attempts for 36.4 percent. He made 16 of 26 free throw attempts also, for 61.5 percent.

Brian had 25 rebounds, 14 assists, and 4 steals.

Trey Versluis, Jordan Nieman, Cody Marsh, and Daniel Hufford scored limited points in limited time of action on the floor, to complete the roster.

As a team, Jesup scored 1,044 points, for an average of 47.5 points per game. The team made 386 field goals in 1,000 attempts, for 38.6 percent.
The J-Hawks made 78 of 284 three-point attempts for 27.5 percent. The team hit 194 free throws in 346 attempts for 56.1 percent.

Jesup had 506 total team rebounds, 284 assists, 139 steals, and 3 blocked shots. The team committed 333 turnovers, with a marked improvement in this category late in the season.

Jesup finished with a 4-18 record overall, and 2-12 in NICL (East) Conference play.

The J-Hawks played considerably better in the latter stages of the season.
