Dunkerton girls stats announced

Season-ending statistics for the Dunkerton Girls Basketball team were announced recently.
April Kimball led the Dunkerton team with 174 points scored, an average of 8.7 points per game. She connected on 71 of 191 shots from the field for 37.2 percent.
April made 32 of 101 free throw attempts for 31.7 percent.
She led the team with 229 rebounds, an average of 11.5 boards per game, which is outstanding.
April had 14 assists, 17 steals, and her 10 blocked shots led the team.
Ashley Duncan followed with 133 points scored, for an average of 6.7 points per game. She made 43 of 168 shots from the field for 25.6 percent.
Ashley led the team in three-pointers, by hitting on 19 of 73 shots for 26 percent. She was 28 of 61 at the free throw line for 45.9 percent.
Ashley grabbed 80 rebounds, second on the team, to go along with 28 assists, and 20 steals.
Danica DeLong scored 75 points, for a 3.8 points per game average. She was 31 of 109 from the field for 28.4 percent.
Danica was 13 of 21 from the free throw line for 61.9 percent, second on the team. She had 48 rebounds, 18 assists, and 34 steals.
Maggie Miller scored 37 points. She hit 15 of 56 field goal attempts for 26.8 percent. She was 7 of 22 from the line for 31.8 percent.
Maggie had 63 rebounds, 9 assists, 27 steals, and 4 blocked shots.
Freshman Cassie de Neui scored 33 points. She hit 14 of 44 field goals attempted for 31.8 percent. Cassie was 5 of 21 from the line for 23.8 percent.
Cassie had 64 rebounds, third on the team, 3 assists, and 11 steals. Her personal play really improved late in the season.
Ashlea Malek had 28 points. She was 12 of 45 from the field for 26.7 percent. She was 3 of 8 from the line for 37.5 percent.
Ashlea had 21 rebounds, 8 assists, and 8 steals.
Kayla Stafford scored 27 points. She was 11 of 59 from the field for 18.6 percent. Kayla was 4 of 22 from the line for 18.2 percent.
She had 61 rebounds, 32 assists, and 25 steals from her point guard position.
Whitney Roberts and Kelli Zuck scored 21 points each.
Whitney was 7 of 25 from the field for 28 percent. She connected on 6 of 16 3-point attempts for 37.5 percent.
Meanwhile, Kelli Zuck was 7 of 29 from the field for 24.1 percent. She led the Raiders from the free throw line, by making 7 of 10 shots for 70 percent.
Kelli had 42 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Sam Schumacher had 18 points. She was 5 for 28 from the field for 17.9 percent. She was 8 for 12 at the free throw line for 66.7 percent.
Sam had 25 rebounds, 7 assists, and 22 steals.
Alexis Russell came in with 11 points. She was 2 of 28 from the field for 7.1 percent. She did make 7 of 16 free throws for 43.8 percent.
Alexis had 27 rebounds, 5 assists, and 21 steals.
As a team, Dunkerton scored just 578 points in 20 games, for an average of 27.9 points per game. The Raiders were successful on 218 of 787 field goal attempts for 27.7 percent.
Dunkerton connected on 27 of 125 three-point attempts for 21.6 percent. The Raiders made 115 of 302 free throw attempts for 38.1 percent.
The team had 673 rebounds, 126 assists, 189 steals, and 18 blocked shots.
