About Agnus Dei Ministry
Agnus Dei Ministry is composed of musicians representing Catholic parishes in the Waterloo/Cedar Falls area. Members include Andrea, Dave and Kathy Berns, Jim Koch, Emily Nelson, Chris Olds, and Kathy Rath of St. Edward Parish; Mike Blad of Queen of Peace; Jack Eherenman of Blessed Sacrament Parish; Hannah Howland and Alex Shockley of St. Patrick Parish; Doug and Paula Moore of Blessed Sacrament; Joanne Roche of Sacred Heart; and Laurie Thome of Immaculate Conception Gilbertville.
In putting together this 75-minute presentation, Director Dave Berns picked music that is very powerful and spiritually moving. All of the music in this program is very reflective and spiritually uplifting.
“I think anyone who comes to this program with an open heart and mind will leave feeling very energized and spiritually renewed,” said Berns. “I also hope that ‘Musical Journey’ will bring people from the different parishes and community together. We may be many but we are also one.”
There is no admission charge. The presentation is free and open to the public and people of all faiths.
A Musical Journey with Christ is meant to supplement the Lenten opportunities that are already available in parishes. This is another opportunity for everyone to enter into the season of lent and prepare themselves for Easter. blog comments powered by Disqus
