FAIRBANK - Marcella S. Clayton, 84 years old of rural Fairbank, IA, died Saturday, May 3, 2008, at Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner, IA.
Mrs. Clayton is survived by four sons, Robert (Paula) Clayton of Fairbank, Charles (Sandra) Clayton of Waterloo, Harold (Denise) Clayton of Fairbank, John (Judy) Clayton of Jesup; one daughter, Beverly (Eugene) Hill, of Jesup; 23 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by a special friend, Lloyd Haskin; one half-brother, Jack Weitzenkamp of Owatonna, MN, 1 stepbrother, Dennis Weitzenkamp of Dodge Center, MN, and 1 half sister, Judy Schnell of Kennewick, WA. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Cecil (June 14, 1970), two great-granddaughters, Caitlyn and Abigail Clayton; one half-brother, Allan Weitzenkamp; and one stepsister, Dolores Reuter.
Funeral services will be 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the American Lutheran Church, Jesup, IA, with Rev. Dawn Pederson officiating. Entombment will be in the mausoleum at the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Waterloo.
Friends may call from 4-8 PM Tuesday at the White Funeral Home, Jesup, and for an hour before services Wednesday at the church. Memorials will be directed to the American Lutheran Church in Jesup.
