Marjorie M. Smith, age 87, of Jesup, Iowa died Sunday, April 20, 2008 at West Village Care Center in Independence of natural causes.
She was born July 31, 1920, in Buchanan County, Iowa, the daughter of
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Lourie of Cedar Falls, Pamela (Rodney) Schneider of Oelwein and Mona (LeRoy) Stone of Independence; nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, James Smith; and a brother in infancy.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at the American Lutheran Church in Jesup with burial in Cedar Crest Cemetery in Jesup. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the services on Wednesday at the Church.
